About Wolveyes
Wolveyes is a free online calculator library for home improvement and appliances. We build the tools we could never find done properly: calculators that show their formula, walk through a worked example, and tell you exactly what to buy — in imperial or metric.
A short history
Wolveyes began as a leather goods store. In 2026 we rebuilt the site into something more useful: a growing library of free calculators for the projects people actually plan on weekends — pouring a slab, painting a room, fencing a yard, sizing an air conditioner.
What you will find here
Ten calculators and counting: concrete, mulch, fence, deck, flooring, paint, roofing, AC sizing, appliance running costs, and a repair-vs-replace advisor for appliances and HVAC. Every calculator is free, needs no sign-up, and works in feet and gallons or metres and litres.
How we build them
Each calculator starts from the standard trade formula, is tested against hand-worked examples before it goes live, and is published with its workings on the page so you can check the maths. Our results are careful estimates for planning and buying materials — for structural, electrical or gas work, always follow your local code and use a qualified professional.
Who it is for
Homeowners, DIYers and tradespeople in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia — and anyone else measuring a project.
